Just trying a hand at Photography

Send me comments on these pics... very amature, yet my proud pieces of display! Posted by Picasa

Life in the fast lane...

Where are all the sparrows disappeared? Where have the butterflies vanished? The last time i remember seeing them is more than a couple of years ago...

The 'age of innocence' that now hast passeth has left me in a time where Life's always in the fast lane. A time where 'time' ticks faster and the pace only gets quicker...

'If you're not in, you're out!' Said my career guidance counsellor. I've been running to be In and I feel like i've run far too fast to catch all the simpler things in life...

Its time i took a break!

A Rare sight (very much on Earth)

A truly Rare and beautiful sight captured in the Arctic. The beautiful north sky shows the Sun and the Moon in the horizon...

Hope to see it some day...

A suset in My home planet!

The image captured by Mars landers show the distant sun setting in the Martian horizon. The red planet 'shows' signs of water and possibility of supporting life.

A view from 'Columbia'...

This photograph was taken by the crew on board the Columbia during its last mission, on a cloudless day. The picture is of Europe and Africa when the sun is setting.
Half of the picture is in night. The bright dots you see are the cities' lights. The top part of Africa is the Sahara Desert .

The sun is still shining on the Strait of Gibraltar . The Mediterranean Sea is already in darkness. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean you can see the Azores Islands; below them to the right are the Madeira Islands ; a bit below are the Canary Islands; and further South, close to the farthest western point of Africa , are the Cape Verde Islands.

Note that the Sahara is huge and can be seen clearly both during day time and night time. To the left, on top, is Greenland , totally frozen.
